In maths this week we worked on word problems. These problems used bed mass and input output tables. Here is one of the worksheets.

Maths Poster

In class this week we did maths posters to show Room 8. We could either do it on addition, subtraction, division or multiplication my best friend Liam and I did addition. In the picture above is my poster. I loved doing the poster because I could do it with my best friend.

Roll an answer

Today in maths we played a game called Roll an Answer. It tests the skills we have learned this year like rounding, place value, addition and subtraction. My group did rounding numbers it was so hard.

Graphs

In Room 6 maths class  we have been doing statistical investigations. First we learnt about stem and leaf graphs and fun investigations on sports. We also learnt how to make graphs on excel. We learnt how to make pie graphs and different types of Bar graphs. Below are some of the graphs I have made on Excel

Pie Chart

This week in maths we learned about graphs and charts. On Google Sheets I made this pie graph. This shows the way people get to school. It shows that 55.6% people come to school by car and the 2nd highest is bike which is at 22.2% and the least is people on a scooters with 7.4%.
