Graphs

In Room 6 maths class  we have been doing statistical investigations. First we learnt about stem and leaf graphs and fun investigations on sports. We also learnt how to make graphs on excel. We learnt how to make pie graphs and different types of Bar graphs. Below are some of the graphs I have made on Excel

Senses Poem

At school we wrote senses poems about the storm in Auckland. Here is mine.

I felt cold and frozen like a Popsicle.
I see a flickering light as my torch shines on the room.
I taste my warm and delicious dinner in my bed.
I hear the rustling leaves banging against my house.
I smell the aroma of my sister's candle as she lights it.
I felt excited and scared like a little boy.

Good Friday

 

Today in Religious Education we learnt about Good Friday and the symbols of Good Friday. This is my work on Good Friday. It shows the symbols of Good Friday.

SECRET CAVE

The rocks were usual enough.
They had moss, cracks, sand and the occasional lizard or crab. But there was one thing no one knew about. The cave in the middle of the rocks.
I hang out there reading eating playing and hiding. Doing nothing important.

Pie Chart

This week in maths we learned about graphs and charts. On Google Sheets I made this pie graph. This shows the way people get to school. It shows that 55.6% people come to school by car and the 2nd highest is bike which is at 22.2% and the least is people on a scooters with 7.4%.

Payara

This is my slideshow. It is about payaras. It was made because my reading group read a book about fish and aquariums. You will learn about payaras in this slideshow but heres one fact: They are commonly found in the Amazon river.

Immortal Y wing

So I was playing star wars battlefront II. The aim for the attackers is to beat the defenders in 3 stages but the defenders only have to win one stage to win the game. 
I was playing star wars battlefront on the map theed and I was a clone. My team was pushing up then Boom! an enemy tank started to attack us. I was on really low health then right in front of me a Y wing came out of nowhere and bounced on the ground. Normally it should have been destroyed but it just bounced back into the sky. So I was like - what just happened? and then I died.
